On Thursday, April 19th, 2018, SolBridge hosted Dr. Wen Hai, Honorary Professor and Dean of Peking University HSBC Business School. Dr. Hai is also the Vice Chairman of Peking University Council. He delivered a Special Lecture entitled “China’s Economy in a New Era” where he highlighted the current economic situation in China and predicted China’s future economic development which attracted participants’ great interest.

Dr. Hai has extensive experience in economic and international trade matters. He is a member of the Advisory Committee for Economic and Trade Policy for China’s Ministry of Commerce and the Board Chairman of China Economics Annual Conference. Besides, Dr. Hai has various publications and books on International Economics and Development Economics including International Trade and Investment: Growth and Welfare, Conflict and Cooperation, International Trade and so on.

During his lecture, he actively interacted with students and engaged in stimulating discussions on current economic issues.
