Elsevier Team Visits SolBridge to Explore AI Integration in Academic Research
SolBridge recently welcomed key representatives from Elsevier, including Said Taha, Senior Vice President of Solutions Sales & Services, along with the Regional, RI and Engineering Solutions for Korea & Taiwan Director, Dana Jang, and Solution Account Manager, RI Solution Sales Korea Mahn-Jin Lee for a forward-thinking discussion on how AI can revolutionize academic research.
During the visit, the Elsevier team highlighted the growing importance of AI tools in enhancing research efficiency and accuracy. AI-powered solutions, such as Elsevier’s SCOPUS AI, offer researchers the ability to conduct more sophisticated analyses, streamline data processing, and gain predictive insights that were previously difficult to achieve.
The Elsevier representatives stressed that while many researchers are beginning to adopt AI, there is still significant room for growth. Increasing awareness and training on AI tools is critical to maximizing their potential in research environments. AI can assist with everything from data analysis to literature review, enabling researchers to work faster and with greater precision.
Woosong and SolBridge’s leadership expressed enthusiasm for exploring how these tools could be integrated into their academic programs to further support faculty and student research. This aligns with SolBridge and Woosong’s vision as a 4th Generation University, committed to embracing innovation and preparing students for a future shaped by technology.
We extend our sincere thanks to Elsevier for visiting SolBridge and sharing their valuable insights on AI’s potential in academic research, and we look forward to further collaboration in the future.
