After weeks of grueling preparation, the final round of the spring 2016 Asian Case Competition was held on Tuesday, May 24, 2016.

SolBridge students could choose between two case studies: introducing a new wine into the Japanese market or introducing e-education materials for teaching/learning English in China.

In the end, the team comprised of Temirlan Tiyessov, Aziza Baikhanova, Hsin-Wen Hsu, and Yu-Huan Chen won first prize and a trip to China.

Second place and a trip to Vietnam went to the team of Diana Bekbulatova, Zhanna Konurbayeva, Kyial Bostonova, and Indira Balabayeva.

Finally, third place honors went to (Abby) Li Liu, Hae-Sol Hwang, Nam-Hee Cho, and Jiang Wang.

SolBridge case competitions provide students with “real” case studies for doing business in Asia in preparation for the actual business world after graduation.
