SolBridge International School of Business successfully hosted an EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development) conference in November at its Daejeon campus, welcoming academic leaders and higher education professionals from a range of international institutions.

The conference served as a valuable platform for in-depth discussions on institutional quality, accreditation pathways, internationalization, and continuous improvement in management education. Through expert-led sessions and peer exchanges, participants explored key themes aligned with EFMD’s standards, including governance, strategic development, assurance of learning, and engagement with external stakeholders.

Hosting the EFMD conference reflects SolBridge’s strategic commitment to international benchmarking and its ongoing preparations for EQUIS accreditation. The event supported the school’s broader efforts to strengthen institutional coherence, enhance quality assurance practices, and deepen engagement with the global management education community.

“Hosting this EFMD conference represents an important milestone in SolBridge’s institutional development and our journey toward EQUIS accreditation,” said Honorary President Oh of SolBridge International School of Business. “The opportunity to engage directly with EFMD colleagues and peer institutions allows us to reflect critically on our practices, learn from international standards, and reinforce our commitment to continuous improvement.”

SolBridge extends its sincere appreciation to EFMD, invited speakers, and all participants for their valuable contributions, which made the conference both productive and impactful. The university looks forward to continued collaboration with EFMD and partner institutions as it advances its strategic and accreditation objectives.
