Season 2: Episode 2 - Study Abroad Experiences

Because of our global network of partner schools, SolBridge students have the opportunity to study at another university in another country for as short as one semester or as long as a year. If they qualify, they can even go to another university to earn a dual degree. Gemma and Colin both studied in France and Thailand respectively for a semester. They shared their study abroad experiences with us on the podcast.

Season 2: Episode 1 Culture Day 2017

Welcome back to Season Two of the SolBridge Podcast! Last Friday, was Culture Day one of the most significant events at SolBridge.

Currently a home to students from 56 countries, SolBridge celebrated its diversity and cross-cultural community through a food festival, traditional attires, music, and performances.

We caught up with the President of SolBridge Student Council Ms. Azizakhon Anorboeva and the Academic Director, Student Council Ms. Salsabilla Sausan who was also the MC of the night for a recap of Culture Day.

Season 1: Episode 5 Kpop Music Part 1

This week we spoke to three SolBridge Student; Ngoc Bich Hoang, Yen Nhi Ngoi Nguyen from Vietnam and Kimberly Limanto from Indonesia about K-pop music.

We talked about their experiences with Kpop music and Kpop concerts. And the ease of being a Kpop fan in Korea as opposed to outside Korea.

This is our last episode of this season. We will be back in the fall with more student experiences of living in Korea.

Season 1: Episode 4 - Interview with Shokhrukh Jobborov

This week on the SolBridge Podcast, we speak to Shokhrukh Jobborov the winner of the 20th International Foreigners’ Korean speech competition that was held on the 13th of June 2017 at Kyunghee University in Seoul. The contest is conducted every year by the Ministry of Sports, Culture, and Tourism. Shokhrukh is our Alumna and is currently working in the International Relations department at SolBridge. He is also pursuing his Master's degree in Business Administration at Woosong University. He shared his experience of learning Korean from the basics and how learning Korean has improved his lifestyle in Korea. He also gives some insights on how to learn the language.

Season 1: Episode 3 - Transportation in Korea

Whether you're using the Subway, bus or even bike, getting around in Korea is always quick and easy. This week we speak to two SolBridge students; Salsabilla M. Sausan from Indonesia and Dmitrii Mekh from Russia about their experiences of transportation in Korea in particular Daejeon city. Both students have lived in Korea for a while and have tried the various forms of transportation in Korea. Tune in to hear what they have to say.
