Hi! My name is Anastassiya Sharaya, and I am the President of the Sol Creators Club at SolBridge International School of Business.

This semester marked an exciting milestone as we launched Sol Creators, a new student club dedicated to content creation, personal branding, and digital marketing. Together with our Vice Presidents, Jacqueline Suhandi and Ekaterina Tian, and under the guidance of our faculty advisor, Professor Melanie Fernandes, we established the club to help students move beyond simply consuming content and start creating their own stories, ideas, and professional portfolios through social media while developing practical digital skills for today’s business world.

Building Skills Through Experience

Throughout the semester, we organized workshops and educational sessions covering content creation, social media strategies, personal branding, and digital marketing tools. We also developed a creator guide for students, introducing useful platforms, collaboration opportunities, and practical resources for working with brands and businesses in Korea.

One of the highlights of the semester was our collaboration with Haneul Mankeum, a local café in Daejeon. Club members created promotional content for the café, gaining valuable hands-on experience in content production and brand collaboration.

We also organized a Content Creation Day in a professional photo studio, where we helped students create high-quality photos and videos for their social media accounts and portfolios. In addition, members participated in content missions and a seven-day Content Creation Challenge designed to encourage creativity, consistency, and confidence.

Creating Impact Beyond Campus

The club also collaborated with the Sol Impact Club to organize the Daejeon Tourism Promotion Day. Participants created content highlighting local attractions and shared recommendations about Daejeon with wider audiences online.

These activities allowed students to develop practical digital marketing skills while building confidence in public communication, creativity, and personal branding, competencies that are increasingly valuable in today’s business environment.

In line with UN Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education), and specifically Target 4.4 on building relevant skills for employment and entrepreneurship, Sol Creators is equipping students with the kind of practical, technology-driven competencies that today’s job market increasingly demands, turning a student club into a small but meaningful contribution to that global goal.

Looking Ahead

The successful launch of Sol Creators demonstrated the growing interest in content creation and digital marketing among SolBridge students. We look forward to welcoming more members next semester and expanding our activities through new workshops, collaborations, and creative projects.

Thank you to everyone who joined us during our first semester. We are excited to continue helping students transform their ideas into impactful content.
